Buford High School students participate in the AA class region for interscholastic athletics. The 2003-04 Buford High School football team won the state championship for the AA classification making it three in a row!! BHS Varsity football team is 45-0 over the last three years and 58-2 over the last four years.
On behalf of the teachers, students, and staff of Buford High School, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our calendar page. Buford High School is a special place characterized by great school spirit and a shared belief that hard work and a cooperative attitude bring satisfaction and success. The pursuit of excellence is the primary goal of Buford High School. We are committed to a quality educational program for all our students. Buford High School offers a challenging curriculum that focuses on academic knowledge and skills designed to prepare students for their chosen pursuits after high school. Quality work at Buford High School will enable students to meet the challenges of college and career.
The extracurricular program is a splendid example of a plan to encourage students to achieve at the highest level possible. Our expectations in athletic performance are consistent with our high expectations for appropriate behavior as well as academic performance. Pride, discipline, enthusiasm and desire are the trademarks of Buford High School. We believe these qualities will enable our student-athletes to live a productive successful life long after their playing days are over.
